In three Moscow banks, investigative measures are being carried out, more like searches

This afternoon, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Central Federal District reported that searches were being carried out in three Moscow banks. According to her, at 16:00 police officers were still in the branch of the "Master Bank" in Runovsky Lane, house 12, in the branch of "Lefko-Bank" at Teterinsky Lane, house 4/8, building 2, and in the building of the "Bank of Project Financing" on Zemlyanoy Val, house 34A. There was also information that employees of the Central Federal District of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also visited the apartments of top managers of banks in Moscow, Moscow and Kaluga regions. The searches, according to the press service, are carried out as part of a criminal case related to illegal banking activities. These financial institutions are suspected of illegally cashing out funds, transferring them abroad. "Thus, banks allowed unscrupulous citizens to evade taxation," the department noted. A little later, the Project Finance Bank (FFT) issued a statement in which it said that investigative measures in the central office are carried out in relation to the bank's customers and are not related to the main activities of the bank. "All operations are carried out as usual through the additional offices of the FFT, which also operate as usual," the FFT said in a statement. The bank promises to resume the work of the central office immediately after the end of the investigation. In the "Master Bank" and "Lefko-Bank" reports of searches were completely denied. "Searches in the bank are not carried out, the official announcement of the bank will be in the near future," the press service of Master Bank said. "The information about the searches is not true. There are no searches," the press service of Lefko Bank said.
